Job Description:

The Client Care Coordinator builds 1776 Senior Care brand awareness and consumers intent to purchase our services. The Business Development Specialist key responsibility is to drive revenue growth by presenting our services through site visits of referral sources (independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, hospitals, medical professionals, etc.) and to the greater community.

A successful candidate will have a strong desire to win new clients and establish new accounts. The ability to develop relationships with key personnel at facilities where clients reside and develop new connections with prospective facilities is critical. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and project management skills are necessary.

Job Priorities:

  • Awareness: Meeting with referral sources and making presentations to the community.

  • Share on-call responsibilities on nights and weekends.

  • Establish goals and report to management staff.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • At least five years’ job-related experience in the home care industry and experience in sales and account development.

  • Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Pass a criminal/DMV background check (no felony convictions and no misdemeanor theft convictions).

  • Successfully pass a drug test.

  • Receive two employment reference checks.

  • Provide a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.

  • Possess excellent computer skills, able to work with new technologies

  • Attention to detail

  • CRM competency

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales

  • Presentations: Conduct sales presentations each week at referral source locations.

  • Events: Lead marketing events for referral sources (e.g., CEU’s, appreciation events like “grab n’ go dinners”) and the community (e.g., support groups, church presentations).

  • Networking: Attends networking events (industry specific).

  • Development: Further develop base and network for long term sources of clients. Generate new customer referrals by cold calling, if necessary. Once a relationship is developed, be a resource (e.g., provide information, solve problems) for the referral source.

  • Follow-up: Plans future follow-up conversations, and evaluations of needs. Actively follows-up on leads with calls to action, dates, profile information and sources.

  • Servicing: Provide continuing service by processing and reassessing changes in referral network needs.

  • Continuing Education: Updates personal job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

  • CRM: Create and maintain customer relationship management program (CRM) and territory planner. Maintain daily communication with office staff and management to foster a team environment.

  • Communication: Maintain communication and interactions with referral sources by providing updates on the client's condition, address concerns.

Client Relations:

  • Client Assessments: Conduct in-home assessment directly with the client, family members, and medical professionals. Establish a relationship, develop the care plan and complete the admission process.

  • Supervisory Visits: Complete 90-day supervisory visits for each client. Act as the primary contact for all client relations.

  • Communication: Maintain communication with families and other professionals as required. Provide updates on the client's condition and address concerns.

Caregiver Relations:

  • Handle onsite caregiver communications and assist them immediately.

  • Participate in sharing on-call responsibilities as needed.
